| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Thesis (M.Sc.)--Chulalongkorn University, 2002 Let X1, X2, ... be a sequence of independent identically distributed random variables. in this study, we find the rate of convergence of the sequence of distribution functions of 1/n[1/sin X1 + 1/sin X2 + ... + 1/sin Xn] to the cauchy distribution function F(x) = 1/pi[pi/2 + arctan [x/[pi gamma (0)]] and the rate of convergence of the sequence of distribution functions of 1/n[1/In/X1] + 1/In/X2] + ... + 1/In/Xn]] to the cauchy distribution function F(x) = 1/pi[pi/2 + arctan[X/pi (gamma (-1) + gamma (1))]]. The bound of errors is of the form C/n[superscript d] with 0 < d <1/9. |
