This study aimed to determine the total direct cost and the itemized unit cost of dental services of Thatum Hospital in 2014 fiscal year. The total direct cost was summed of labor cost which paid from dental personnel’s remuneration and welfare, material expenditure, and depreciation costs of durable dental equipment. Costs were allocated by dental service time and amount of dental services. The study revealed that the ratio of labor cost : material cost : capital cost was 71.79 : 20.03 : 8.19. The first and second highest unit costs were prosthetics and endodontics. Sealant had lowest unit cost (86.76 baht/tooth). Comparing to the 2006 fee schedule of the Comptroller General Department (CGD), most dental services operated at Thatum Hospital had a lower unit cost. In prosthetics, unit costs were higher, except temporary plate 1-5 teeth was lower than the CGD’s fee.

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาต้นทุนต่อหน่วยของบริการทันตกรรมรายบริการ ในปีงบประมาณ 2557 ของโรงพยาบาลท่าตูม รวบรวมข้อมูลต้นทุนทางตรงจาก 3 แหล่ง ได้แก่ ค่าใช้จ่ายบุคลากรจากฎีกาเบิกจ่ายเงินเดือนและค่าตอบแทน ข้อมูลวัสดุจากระบบการเบิกวัสดุและทะเบียนครุภัณฑ์ ค่าวัสดุประกอบด้วยมูลค่าวัสดุสิ้นเปลือง เครื่องมืออุปกรณ์ที่ไม่ใช่ครุภัณฑ์และค่าจ้างเอกชนผลิตฟันเทียม กระจายต้นทุนด้วยเวลาและปริมาณที่ใช้ในแต่ละกิจกรรม พบว่าสัดส่วนต้นทุนค่าแรงต่อต้นทุนค่าวัสดุต่อต้นทุนค่าลงทุนเท่ากับ 71.79 : 20.03 : 8.19 งานทันตกรรมประดิษฐ์มีต้นทุนต่อหน่วยสูงที่สุด รองลงมาคือการรักษาคลองรากฟัน และการเคลือบหลุมร่องฟันมีค่าต่ำที่สุดเท่ากับ 86.76 บาทต่อซี่ บริการส่วนใหญ่รวมทั้งฟันเทียมถอดได้ฐานอะคริลิก 1-5 ซี่มีต้นทุนต่ำกว่าค่าบริการของกรมบัญชีกลาง พ.ศ. 2549 ส่วนงานทันตกรรมประดิษฐ์อื่นๆ มีต้นทุนสูงกว่า
