| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | There are collisions in most of the rail networks between rail and road traffic which includes pedestrians, heavy vehicles and cars. It results in huge cost in replacing assets and compensating the victims including rail operating staff. There are measures taken on continual basis in the engineering, education and enforcement of law to mitigate these risks. It is important to measure the effectiveness of these measures for reliability and safety considering the growth of traffic in rail and road sector. A consistent safety performance reporting system for level crossing incidents needs to be integrated to police; rail and road authority databases for analysing this problem from various angles and take corrective and preventive measures. |
