บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย :

In recent decades, increased emphasis on sustainable development has prompted a more holistic and comprehensive approach to natural resource management issues. In terms of resource economics, this has meant greater interest in including and assessing impacts that are not reflected in normal market processes. There have been substantial advances in the use of non-market valuation techniques to predict community preferences for different environmental outcomes, and the inclusion of such analyses in evaluations such as cost-benefit analysis is becoming more commonplace. However, the application of such techniques to social and cultural heritage issues is much rarer.
