| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Maturity and ripening stages of durian are difficult to be precisely classified by human. In this research we employed an electronic nose (E-nose) consists of 16 different polymer-carbon black composite sensors as a non-destructive analysis device for inspecting and classifying maturity and ripening stage of 'Monthong' durian. Odor from a durian at different ripening stage composed of different chemical vapors. By feeding the durian odor into a sensor chamber of an E-nose, different odors yield different sensing patterns. Principal component analysis (PCA) and artificial neural network (ANN) were utilized as pattern recognition apparatuses. Based on ANN results, the E-nose correctly indicated maturity and ripeness stage of 'Monthong' durian with higher than 80% accuracy. |
