| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) have attracted widespread attention owing to low production cost, simple fabrication process, environmental compatibility, as well as the comparable energy conversion efficiency to that of the amorphous silicon solar cell. This study reports a novel approach to further improve the DSSC solar conversion efficiency by incorporating multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) into the DSSC working electrodes. The electrodes were fabricated from a TiO2-MWCNT paste obtained by direct mixing methods. This simple method results in improvements in the energy conversion efficiency by a factor of upto 1.5 with only 0.025% by weight of MWCNTs in the films. The optical and the electrochemical properties of the TiO2-MWCNTs working electrodes were characterized by optical absorption spectroscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. |
