| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Polypropylene fibers containing 5, 10, and 20%wt of encapsulated PCM microparticles were made via melt spinning at 200°C. The obtained PP/PCM fibers showed increase in heat energy with increasing amount of microparticles, but with expense of fiber spinnability. PP fibers containing 5 and 10%wt PCM microparticles showed good fiber spinnability, whereas those of 20%wt are brittle and showed poor fiber spinnability. SEM revealed that microparticles either embedded in fiber matrixes or appeared on surface. Most of microparticles on fiber surface were damaged although fiber spinning temperature was lower than temperature limit for thermal stability of PCM microparticles. This may be due to high shear stress that developed on surface when the polymers melt was extruded through narrow spinnerets in fiber spinning process. |
