| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Nowadays Glass ionomer cements (GIC) are expansively used as restorative materials in dentistry. They are basically made of fluoroaluminosilicate glass powder combined with a water-soluble polyacid. When the components are mixed together, the cements are set through a neutralization of acid-base reaction. Due to the broad chemical ranges of components, the series of glass ionomer cements are very extensive and the materials are considerably prospective for further investigation. Therefore in this study, several novel fluoroaluminosilicate glass compositions have been produced as potential cement components. Factors studied including the effect of Al2O3:SiO2 ratio of each composition, surface modified of glass powders, in conjunction with the syntheses of acidic copolymers at various concentrations were discussed. |
