The purposes of this research were to study and compare the opinions of safety officers concerning occupational safety and health training curriculum of Labour Protection and Welfare Department, In the term of objective, content, teaching activities and the usefullness. The samples of this study were 150 safety officers who passed the occupational safety and health training curriculum of Labour Protection and Welfare Department In 1991-1992 (Group No 47-57) and work in the 5 production industries with high risk of injuries. The 5 production industries and Primary metalic industries, metal machiner and equipment industries, production of non-metalic industries, chemical petroleum gas and plastic industries, paper and printing industries. The samples were divided Into 10 groups by 5 types of industries and 2 types of educations (undergraduate and graduate) Each groups were 15 safety officers. The questionnaire was divided into 3 parts The first one way a primary data of safety officers and industries. The second was a rating scale questionnaire concerning occupational safety and health curriculum In objective, content teaching activities and usefullness the third was open-end part asking about content, teaching activities, usefullness and general recommendation. This questionnaire was constructed by the researcher The rating scale part had the reliability determined by - coefficient value of 0.90. The primary data of safety officers was analyzed by means of percentage and frequency The opinions of safety officers was analyzed by means of the arithmatic mean, the standard deviation and Two-Way Classification Analysis of Variance. The results of this study showed that the opinions of the safety officers concerning the occupational safety and health curriculum was that the objectives, content, teaching activities and usefullness were suitable at the medium level. To compare the opinions of the safety officers In each groups hadnt different qualities In all aspects. The recommendation for improving the occupational safety and health curriculum were to construct a short-term curriculum for some topic and establish a committee In order to Improve curriculum, and make a curriculum of training for trainer.
