| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | The purpose of this thesis is to determine andcontrol the tyre quality factors by using Failure Modeand Effects Analysis. Failure Mode and Effects Analysis(FMEA) is the quality tool used to analyze and controlprocess of the tyre industry. First, the process isstudied and the quality tools used to search for thequality factors of effectiveness of the tyre defects.The tools employed include Causes and Effects Diagram,Relation Diagram and Tree Diagram. After that, the tyreprocess specialists are asked to analyze and evaluatethe Severity, Occurrence and Detection of each defectto calculate Risk Priority Number (RPN) . The value ofRPN is between I to 1,000 points (the higher the RPNthe higher the risk of defect occurrence). This thesiswill mainly concentrate on the correction of defectswith more than 100 points (Stamatis, 1995:39). Analysis and control of quality factors for thetyre starting with defect consideration each processfrom mixing to finish products. Check sheet, methodstudy and machine setting is created by brainstormingto apply to solve the defect of each step. After thecorrective action is made, the passenger radial tyredecrease continuously from 1.009% to 0.392% and truckbias tyre decreased from 0.025% to zero defect and thesame group of tyre specialists evaluate theSeverity,Occurrence and Detection of each defect again.The new Risk Priority Number (RPN) is lower than theprior one 50%-90%. The defects are controlled bycontrol plan which consist of process and machineconcerned, control point, product/process specificationand tolerance, measurement technic, sample size,control method, person who is responsible for, andreaction plan to detect the defects which may beoccured again |
