| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | We use the MIDFIELD database, a collection of all undergraduate student records from eight large public universities from 1990 to 2003, to study the performance of students in two economics courses: principles of microeconomics and intermediate microeconomics. We analyze how economics course enrollment, performance, and student characteristics have changed over the 14 year period. This paper also documents the selection and performance of students into the economics major, with a focus on students who transfer into economics from other math-intensive majors. |
