| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Students who matriculated in undergraduate engineering programs are studied to determine the effects of a required introduction to engineering course on major selection. Requiring such a course appears to affect the way the students sort themselves into majors, particularly students who do not declare a specific engineering major at matriculation. Such courses also seem to enhance retention in engineering programs compared to programs that do not require a common introductory course. |
