| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Bovine serum albumin (BSA) microspheres with and without drug entrapment were prepared by a water-in-oil emulsion solvent diffusion method. Aqueous BSA solution and ethyl acetate were used as water and oil phases, respectively. Influences of cross-linker and drug loading were investigated. BSA solution was cross-linked with polyethylene glycol diglycidyl ether (PEGDE) before drug dissolving and production of BSA microspheres. Methylene blue (MB) and Span80 were used as water-soluble model drug and surfactant, respectively. BSA microspheres were spherical in shape with smooth surface. Percentage of dissolution of BSA microspheres decreased when PEGDE ratio increased. Cumulative drug release decreased steadily as MB ratio decreased and PEGDE ratio increased. © Research India Publications. |
