| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | The aim of this study is to investigate AED use in health and fitness facilities with regards to laws, regulations, and case law. Review of literature and case law suggests that due to increased litigation from sudden cardiac arrests during exercise, the presence of AEDs in risk management of health and fitness facilities is crucial (Cotten 2005; ACSM 2007; Norton and Norton 2008). The conclusions of this paper highlight the need for familiarization with the most recent laws, regulations and case law in use of AEDs in health and fitness facilities as a risk management tool to minimise legal liability. |
