| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | In recent years, there has been an enormous amount of research and development in the area of heterogeneous photocatalytic water purification processes due to their effectiveness in degrading and mineralizing recalcitrant organic compounds. This paper reviews and summarizes twenty seven recently published works on the photocatalytic oxidation of toxic organic compounds e.g pesticides and herbicides, predominant in storm and waste water effluent. In this review, the effects of various operating parameters on the photocatalytic degradation of pesticides and herbicides are discussed. Recommendations are made for future work to eliminate the drawbacks pertaining to this treatment process. |
