บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย :

This paper outlines the lead and lag characteristics and aspects of innovative organisations. Innovation performance is reviewed initially from a global perspective with financial performance characteristics and then specific aspects of innovation performance ofAustralian companies are highlighted. Evidence is provided for the benefits of innovation in terms of value growth, revenues within the last 5 years, productivity growth per employee per annum, as well as the usual growth in R&D, patents, trademarks and design registrations. Individual case studies include using the Zing Team Learning System (ZTLS) are introduced, which high performing organizations, small medium enterprises and individual behaviour that drives innovation. The focus is on traditional organisations such as building products, manufacturing, fast moving consumer goods, and govermnent departments. The paper indicates some of the success factors of incorporating the ZTLS and other characteristics and aspects of known innovative organisations.
