| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Biodiesel is one of the expected-to-be renewable energy, especially for agricultural country like Thailand. B100 or 100% biodiesel has been promoted all around the country to the agricultural sector to foster sustainable economy concept. However, there are some questions regarding to engine and fuel compatibilities. Due to the different properties of biodiesel comparing to diesel fuel, a direct injection diesel engine designed for farm truck has been put to the test. Engine performance and emissions from neat biodiesel and fossil diesel are compared with injection time adjusted. Engine torque, thermal efficiency, engine mapping are reported and discussed. The results show a promising thermal efficiency and emissions quality with a slightly drop of engine performance |
