| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Xerogel films prepared by sol-gel method are promising candidates for oxygen barrier coating. Blends based on Tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) - Polyurethane (PU) systems were investigated by various complementary techniques under various sol-gel parameters. Structures of xerogels were studied by FT-IR to be consistent with oxygen transmission rate (OTR) measured from xerogel coated bi-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films. Higher intensity of Si-O-Si bond formation (1059-1076 cm-1) gives a good correlation to lower OTR. |
