| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors influencing graduates from a Master's Program in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)at a Thai university to seek a job change and become English teachers. Eight graduates who had had full-time jobs other than English teaching and had become full-time English teachers after obtaining the MATEFL were interviewed primarily to determine the reasons for their career changes. The three most influential factors found were the desire to make a significant contribution to society, the realization of their teaching ability, and the passion for the teaching profession.
