| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Kidneys are important but vulnerable organs in the human body. In this thesis, the thesis focuses on the study of assessing renal function by dynamic imaging. Dynamic renal scintigraphy is a well-established imaging technique for renal-function evaluation. To analyze the scintigraphic images by parametric deconvolution (also termed as model fitting), some models of renal impulse retention function (IRF) were proposed and improved. A novel biphasic model-fitting approach based on renal physiology was proposed as well. With the improved IRF model (termed as Fine’s model with vascular delay) and biphasic fitting approach, renal vascular and parenchyma parameters can be simultaneously and reliably identified. Many of these parameters are indicative of some renal pathologies and functional status. |
