| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Egypt’s transition from autocracy to democracy has been waylaid by the two forces that threatened it from the outset: a military determined to retain its power behind the scenes and a Muslim Brotherhood that sought power despite being ill-prepared for office. The ousting of President Mohammed Morsi will further complicate Egypt’s transition, change the dynamics of Islamist politics, and trigger broader repercussions across the Middle East and North Africa. |
