| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | In 1991, Vietnam and China normalized their relations, ending more than a decade of hostilities that culminated in the 1979 brief but devastating border war. Eight years later, the two states successfully negotiated and concluded their land border treaty (30 December 1999). Though there was some scepticism about its fairness when the treaty was introduced to the public, most people would deem it a major landmark event in the bilateral relations given such long and complicated history between the two countries. |
