The purpose of this study was to compare the achievement and environment-based values, a Lesson in Life Experience Subject Area of Prathom Suksa IV students taught by The Sustainable Development Approach and The Commonly Used Lesson Plan. The target group is Prathom Suksa IV students at Kantrarom Wittayakom School, Kantrarom District, Srisaket Province year. during the Second semester of the 1993 academic year. Two classes were simple from test for homogeneity of varience and randomized in to the experimental and control groups with 25 students in each. The experimental groups was taught through The Sustainable Development Approach, where as the control group was taught through The Commonly Used Lesson Plan. Both groups were taught by reseacher for 51 periods with 20 minutes in each. This study was designes by using the randomized control group pretest-postest. The data were statistically analyzed by using the t-test difference scores. The resultd of the study indicated that achievement and environment-based values in Life Experience Subject Area, The Experimental group was significantly from the control group at the .05 and .01 level in consequence.
