The purpose of this study was to compare the helping behavior of the preschoolers whose parents were provided with activities from the parent education packages and parents were provided with activities in daily life. Thirty subjects of five to six year preschoolers of Lampang Kindergarten School in the second semester of the 1993 academic year were simple randomized sampling into two groups, the experimental and the control group. The experimental group was provided with the activities from the parent education packages. The control group was provided with activities from daily life. The design of the study was Randomized control - group pretest - posttest design. The Test on the Helping Behavior of Young Children of Ratanawadee Rodpirom with the reliability of .978 was used in this study. The data were statistically analysed useing the t-test. The study revealed that helping behavior of preschoolers whose parents used activities from the parent education packages were significanly higher than persechoolers whose parents used activities in daily life at the .01 level. Helping behavior of perschoolers within groups after the experiment were significanly higher than before the experiment at the .01 level.
