บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย :

The purpose of this study was to compare self-confidence of pre-school children who were provided in creative art activities and free play with rules suggested by the children and rule suggested by the teacher. Ninety - two of five to six years preschool children in the second semester of the 1993 academic year of Nakornratchasima Kindergarten School were simple randomized sampling into two groups. Each group comprised of 46 children. The first group was provided with self - discipline of preschool children with experience in creative art activities and free paly with rules suggested by the children and the second group was provided with self - discipline of preschool children with experience in creative art activities and free play with rules suggested by the teacher. Both groups were taught by the researcher for eight weeks. The instruments of this study were the art activities and free play lesson plan self - discipline test developed by the researcher. The dependent and independent t-test were used in analyzing the data. The findings were as follows : 1. Self - discipline of preschool children with experience in creative art activities and free play with rules suggested by the children significantly was increased at the .01 level. 2. Self - discipline of preschool children with experience in creative art activities and free play with rules suggested by the teacher was significantly increased at the .01 level. 3. Self - discipline of preschool children with experience in creative art activities and free play with rules suggested by the children and by the teacher was not different.
