| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | phenomenon in the system. The natural frequencies and mode shapes are numerically computed based on the finite element modeling. The cable motions of subsystems in the different spans are weakly coupled and, therefore, the phenomenon of mode localization is possible to occur when a weak perturbation is introduced in the span length. The degrees of localization in the normal modes are, however, different for different modes of vibration. The sway modes as well as the vertical plane modes with anti-symmetric subspan mode are always strongly localized, whereas the mode localization in the vertical modes with symmetric subspan mode are very weak in the modal transition region of the cable parameter. The effects of mode localization phenomenon are also discussed based on parameters such as dynamic tension and harmonically forced response. |
