This thesis presents the development of a computerized programs for land suitability evaluation and agro-industry extension planning in case study of Food Processing Section-Lahan Sai Royal Recommended Project. The Integrated Planting Information System (IPIS) can be successfully operated both on AT and XT computer with only one high density floppy disk. The system is consisted of 6 processor units which can be shown on monitor and printer. By using IPIS in study area with 7 major extension crops, most of soil quality is highly suitable for planting except soil unit No.19 which is very high slope. The potential area is much available producing raw material to the factory if the industry is more promoteed. The problem found most is labour insufficience as a result that plantation in agro-industry needs more in looking after for product quality control. Furthermore, the system can be show improvement measures for soil quality. This thesis is a preliminary study working out for study area only but we will then develope the system to be used in any area of Thailand which will make agro-industry more efficient and proficient.
