The obiectives of this study were to assess differences in self-care, health perception and city or rural perspective between the elderly in Muang Municipality and Suburb of Khon Kaen province. The correlation of all these variables was also studied. Structural questionnaire interveiwed and focus group interviewed were used. The study found difference in self-care behavior(p-value = 0.025), but found no difference in both health perception and city or rural perspective,and self-care had a little bit correlation with both health perception and city or rural perspective(p-value <0.01 and p-value = 0.016 respectively), whereas health perception and city or rural perspective did not have any relation. From this result, suggested that health activities or health information medias for aging in this two areas can be set up in the same patterns to contribute their self-care behavior

furthermore, these activities or medias are also suitable for them is the same way.
