| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | We propose a nonparametric detector for signal detection with distributed sensors. A constant signal in additive noise is to be detected where the only assumption made on the noise is that it has a symmetric probability density function. The proposed scheme uses Wilcoxon statistics followed by an M-level quantizer to generate the local decisions. Equations for solving the optimum thresholds for the quantizers are presented. The fusion center generates the final decision based on a linear function of the local decisions. Numerical results show that this detector provides better performance than other nonparametric distributed detectors with the same transmission bandwidth requirement. © 1997 Elsevier Science B.V. |
