The objectives of this research is to study ISAN proverbs for folk literature, which is record in writing and make suggestion for activity to teacher. In order to consist of teaching in cultural anthropology. The data has gotten from " ISAN Proverbs for folk literature " which has written by Jaruwan Thamawat, " Local Verse" which has written by Pratuang Klaisuban, and "Ancient ISAN Proverb" which has written by Preechar Pinthong. After carefully selected, the number of proverbs are three hundred and sixty seven proverbs. To sort by text, social appearance and culture, which are appear in ISAN proverbs. There are five type of ISAN proverbs as follow: 1) Family system, there are thirty-five proverbs, which give details about spouse selection, human being in family and ISAN s family. 2) Human being and occupation type,there are one hundred and three proverbs,which give details about most of ISAN s occupation, it means agriculture and farming and to breed animals for main occupation, and coming up is commercial. ISAN s social condition, usually live together in village and they d built their house by self. 3) Consume culture, there are thirty proverbs, which give details about all kind of ISAN s food, which is very popular and appropriate food in consume culture. 4) Value system, there are one hundred and sixty five proverbs, which give details about value of honor to scholar person and conscientious person and respected in senior, value judgment in woman, to belief in custom and sympathy and generous. 5) Religion and belief, there are thirty-four proverbs which give details about belief in deed and merit and virtue, to commit a sin, previous life, next life or rebirth, belief in true world regarding to principle of religion and other belief. For ISAN people, the ISANs proverbs are reflect to their local language which produce many easy word, normal word which has taken for comparing, to conduct the idea and deep desire for general understanding and good memory. Recently, not many people speak ISANs proverbs, it means less than in the past. It might be disappear in future. Unless schools and institution had taken ISANs proverbs to consist in teaching. Itll be protect culture of language for ISANs social for good and all.
