| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | The purpose of this research was to study the participation of community at Bor KaewSub-district, Samoeng District, Chiang Mai Province in four aspects, namely educational planning, allocation of resources, co-ordination, and evaluation. The subjects used forstudy were divided into two groups. The first group, consisting 69 subjects, were 6 school administrators, 18 school teachers, 32 school board's members and 13 members of Tambon Administration Organization. The subjects of second group were 78 students' guardians and 19 community leaders. Data were collected by using a questionnaire and then were analyzed through uses of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and a Z- statistics. The results of this research were as follows: The majority of both groups were males. Nearly a half of subjects in the first groupearned an associated degree and up whereas only 3 subjects in second group earned a bachelor's degree the rest were secondary education graduates and lower. For the opinions of participation, the first and second groups agreed that the level of participation in all four aspects at present was different or lower than that of it should be at the alpha level of .01. It could be concluded that the community wanted to participate more than it was in all four aspects of educational management. Furthermore, the first group expressed that the community should be participate more than of that expressed by the second group. When using a Z-statistics to test the differences between the means of the two groups' opinion on the participation of educational management it was found that(a) there were no differences between the opinion's means of what-it-was situation onfour aspects as expressed by the two groups (b) these was a statistical dirrerence at .05 alpha level between the opinion's mean of what-should-be situation on resources allocationand on co-ordination as expressed by the first group and that of the second group (c) there were statistical differences at .01 alpha level between the opinion's means of what-should-besituation on planning and also on evaluation as perceived by the first and that of the second groups. Suggestions made were that people in the community should be informed and providedknowledge concerning the educational administration so that would perform their functionbetter. Moreover, the people should be invited to participate in every education activity. |
