| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | This study was conducted in order to establish acomputerised database of turtle species which inhabitThailand, using the Microsoft Access program. Databaserecords were collected from specimens kept in theMuseum of Natural History, Chulalongkorn University,and other collections throughout Thailand. For eachspecimen, the Museum collection number, scientificname, common name, type of specimen, collector,location, life history notes and size of shell wererecorded. A Dichotomous key was constructed frommorphometric analysis of turtle specimens so it can beused for the identification of all species included inthis study to the family and specific levels by usingonly shell sample. Combination of this program with thedichotomous key program written by Microsoft VisualBasic will give a complete system for data enquiriesand data analysis for Thai turtles. |
