There are two main objectives of this thesis.Firstly, the overall image of the tourism industry hasbeen presented in order to search the function of lawsrelating to this area. Secondly, the amendment of therelevant law has been purposed corresponding to therequirement of The General Agreement on Trade inServices. The outcome of our research founded that a numberof Thai legislation should be amended especially thoserelated to tourism sector. Fundamentally obstacles forMarket Access should be progressively removing out. TheAnnouncement of The National Executive Council No.281,Working of Aliens Act B.E. 2521, Travel Agency Businessand Guide Act B.E.2535 and Hotel Act B.E.2478 should beamended. Further this thesis relating suggests that thelaws to the tourism industry should be amended in orderto be consistent with the current social situation. Theauthorities controlling the tourism industry should beadjusted and the private sector should be encouraged tobe aware of the development of its efficient incompeting with the liberalization of the internationaltrade in services.
