บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย	:	The understanding of biogeochemical cycling of carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide in the oceans is essential for predicting the fate of anthropogenically emitted components. The North Indian Ocean, with its diverse regimes, provides us with a natural laboratory that can unravel the mechanisms controlling these gases with implications for the global aquatic bodies. The anthropogenically impinged global budgets for these gases, largely collected under the Global Change Programme from the North Indian Ocean are reviewed and the contributions from this region to the global sea-to-air fluxes
