| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | This report examines the principles underlying GPDAMS, philosophy behind data management, and describes functionalities, limitations and usage of GPDAMS. GPDAMS is a complete marine geophysical data management system that provides user-friendly access to large volume of data and means to visualize and extract selected data as per need. The software requires a minimum of computing expertise as it is controlled by a system of `pull down' menus, backed up by a context-sensitive system. It is expected that marine geophysicists engaged in research and development activities from India and other countries bordering Indian Ocean will will use "GPDAMS" extensively. |
