| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Biogeochemistry is a subject wherein geochemical and biological processes occurring in the upper layers of the Earth, including atmosphere, are studied together. Many of the climatically important gases influencing the Earth’s radiation budget result from these processes occurring in hydrosphere, geosphere or atmosphere. Oceans form a major part of the hydrosphere on our planet. The Indian Ocean, unlike the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, does not connect the two Polar Oceans and is special in its geological setting. Thus, the presence of landmass to the north of the Indian Ocean makes the seas surrounding India vibrant with the occurrence of tropical monsoons. |
