This research aims to explore the power using for tourism management in Khao Kho district, Phetchabun, to guidelines on energy conservation and use of renewable energy technologies suitable for tourism management and to make the community-energy management model for the proper management of tourism in the Khao Kho. This research used mixed method methodology. The samples were a hotel, an accommodation, a resort, and a tourist attraction place in the Tambon Kao Kho District Administrative Organization and the Tambon Thung Sa Mor District Administrative Organization areas and selected by random sampling in the number of 90. Data collection was done by the observation area, the focus group, interviewed with questionnaires, depth interviews with community leaders and local academic experts, and the training provided knowledge and bringing the technologies to trial. From the study, it found that the area in both of the Tambon Administrative Organization have the potential of natural resources and the environment that supported the tourism such as the eco-tourism, the agritourism, and the cultural tourism. From a lot of tourists in each year caused the expansion of the hotel accommodation resort business and the community. The expansion leaded to demand for energy, especially electricity increased. While the energy management occured only in certain areas. The poll found that respondents were aware and interested in using of renewable energy on a high level and needed to promote and develop energy management potential skill at a high level. Moreover they glad to cooperate in energy management to promote tourism in the high level. The energy management model to promote community tourism in Khao Kho. Energy crisis and environment bring to an awareness about the power of community and involvement of the community and entrepreneurs which lead to an energy management plan. Then implement, monitoring, assessment and development, are follow, respectively. The performance plan and operation bring to knowledge management and practices that are consistent with community life which can be used as a model for other communities and will continue to contribute to the ongoing and sustainable development of local tourism and energy management.
