| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Oil palm solid waste was used as precursor to prepare activated carbons (AC) using physiochemical method. The fabricated set up for preparation of ACs consists of (i) gas metering section where the gas flow rates are adjusted to the required levels, (ii) a stainless steel tubular reactor equipped with a programmable temperature tubular furnace and (iii) condenser. The fabricated experimental set up for removal of dye from wastewater consists of; (i) wastewater feed stock tank, (ii) peristaltic pump to adjust feed flow rates, (iii) the adsorption column and (iv) the analysis system using UV-Visible spectrophotometer. For preparation of AC from kernels shell, the sample was carbonized at 700 DC, with heating rate of 10°C/min under purified nitrogen (99.995%) flow of 150 em3/min for 2 h. |
