| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | The Australian landscape, and particularly the vast and diverse outback landscape is very much a part of the ebb and flow of my life, with frequent trips to and from the bush. The cycles of boom and bust are always apparent, flood or drought, great extremes in temperature and weather. I am always amazed at how resilient the landscape is, and how even despite a ten year drought, rains provide the catalyst for seeds to arise from their dormancy and burst forth with an amazing display of colours and variety. The geology of the continent always inspires awe, and this becomes more apparent in the cycles of drought when the land is stripped bare. Gems, precious metals, the bounty from the earth are abundant in both living and non-living forms – these to me are what I consider to be “extant”, or surviving and present today. |
