| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | The social sustainability of current trends that have impacted on property and the built environment are examined. Major social changes, especially over the last generation are reviewed in terms of their impact on the built environment. Recent changes in the demand for various types of developed space are linked to social changes that can be seen in economic and demographic indicators. Evidence is presented that suggests that critical turning points exist that make simple forecasting using past trends quite hazardous. Implications for future development and planning include caution when assuming that recent growth patterns will continue into the future. |
