| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | This article uses an analytic cross-layer modeling to investigate the effects of inherent wireless properties on traffic QoS. The QoS metrics considered are packet queuing delay and loss probability. Wireless properties accounted for are user mobility, radio fading, and error control. It is observed that the packet losses increase with increasing user mobility, decrease with increasing received SINR and FEe redundancy, but increase with increasing maximum number of ARQ retransmissions, when all other parameters are held the same. The packet queuing delay, on the other hand, decreases with increasing user mobility but increases with increasing received SINR. |
