| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | The contextual pressures associated with globalisation (and the impact of globalisation on perceptions of rurality) coupled with the masculine traditions of universities produce an interesting environment within which issues of women's work with technoloogy in universities can be considered. With more emphasis being placed on technology based teaching and learning, it is now perceived as a requirement for academics to use various forms of technology in their daily work practices. In this paper therefore I will be looking at specific dominant discourses associated with technology that circulate within a rural university and the multiple readings of these discourses by a small group of academic women located within that university. |
