| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | In this study, we study problems on two-dimensional backward-facing step flows at various Reynolds numbers. Two types of inflow boundary conditions are investigated; time-independent and time-dependent conditions. For the time-independent inflow, a sinusoidal perturbation is imposed. One of the goals is to investigate the effect of amplitudes and the frequencies of the inflow on the characteristic of the flow fields. The main finding for this study is that, for all Reynolds numbers studied, the flow locally shows quasi-periodic behavior as we increase the forcing frequency to be at least 12 for all amplitudes studied. The relation of the circulation length and the perturbed frequencies, amplitudes is also summarized. |
