| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Virtual machine technologies are gaining popularity in enterprise business as a software solution for building share resources via virtualization. Xen, an x86 virtual machine monitor (VMM) which allows multiple commodity operating systems to share conventional hardware in a safe environments without sacrificing significant amounts of performance degradation. In this paper we present an overhead of CPU and I/O processing on behalf of a particular virtual machine compared with the virtualized case. Our performance study attempts to analyze and evaluate this overhead for a set of CPU and I/O intensive applications. |
