| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | Covers: (1) How Mr Tan made the first move towards establishing Nanyang University (or Nantah) as a result of the appeals for the need of a Chinese university and the public backing to realize the goal (2) Mr. Tan's dispute with Dr. Lin Yutang (3) The dilemma Mr. Tan and his colleague were in as the authorities did not recognize the Nantah degree, and the ways he negotiated with the Labour Front, and later the government (4) How the authorities handled the accreditation matter with respect to their view on Nantah. (5) The conflict and power tussle over the administrative issue of Nantah between Mr. Tan and the government. |
