| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | The purpose of this research was to compare moral values between two groups of nursing students who were taught by value clarification method and traditional teaching method. The samples were the second-year nursing students who were studying Nursing Development and Principles of The Red Cross at The Thai Red Cross College of Nursing in the semester of 1990. They were divided into an experimental and controlled groups by simple random sampling method. The experimental group (39 students) was taught by value clarification method and the controlled group (39 students) was taught by traditional teaching method. Each group was taught for two hours per week for five weeks. The instruments in collecting data were the moral value test and questionnaire about ethical teaching method. The results of the study revealed that :- 1. Nursing students being taught by different methods revealed no difference in level of moral values. Both groups were at the valuing stage both before and after treatment. 2. Nuring students being taught by the two different methods revealed no statistically significant difference in mean score of moral values at the .05 level. 3. Before and after being taught by value clarification method, nursing students were no statistically significant difference in mean score of moral values at the .05 level. 4. Before and after being taught by traditional teaching method, nursing students had no statistically significant different in mean score of moral values at the .05 level. 5. When classifying by moral traitts of seven items :- 5.1 Nursing students being taught by the two different methods had no statistically significant difference in mean score of moral values at the .05 level. 5.2 After being taught by value clarification method, nursing students mean score of moral values were less than before being taught for mercy and polite significantly at the .05 level. 5.3 Before and after being taught by traditional teaching method, nursing students had no statistically significant difference in mean score of moral values at the .05 level. |
