| บทคัดย่อ/คำอธิบาย | : | This paper presents an analytical method for finding dominant locations on cost contour lines to help select an alternative location of a new machine. The dominant location is defined as the location on the cost contour at which its combined noise level (from all machines in the facility) is at the minimum. Thus, placing the new machine at the dominant location allows a compromise between cost and ergonomics considerations. Two approaches are discussed: (1) cost-noise successive minimization, and (2) goal programming. For each approach, the facility location problem is mathematically formulated and the solving technique is explained. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate how dominant locations can be obtained. |
