The objective of this research is to study the relationships between leadership behavior perception of the superiors and total organization climate. The method is to assess the acceptance of the feeling of the subordinates towards their supervisors. A sample size of 359 persons is selected from the staff of insurance companies attached to their headquarters in Bangkok Metropolis. The data analysis is based on statistical calculations e.g. mean, median, standard deviation, T-score value and coefficient relation. The computer programme SPSS F/W is utilized to process the results. As a result, personal characteristics such as sex

employment period and units of work caused no different effects on perception of leadership behavior and the organization climate, with an exception on age at a statistical significance of .05. Out of the sample, 8 were found to be exploitative, 81 benevolent, 221 consultative and 49 participative leaders. The organization climate in life insurance industry as a whole trended to be open. The correlation between perception of leadership behaviors and the organization climate was negative as regards to dimensions of disagreement, hindrance and aloofness with a statistical significance at .01. On the contary, the correlation was found to be positive significantly at .01 as regards to dimensions of esprit, intimacy, trust and consideration. Finally no significant negative correlation was found in the relationships between perception of leadership behaviors and the organization climate as regards to dimension of production emphasis.
