Artemia is an important life food for fish larvae as well as juvenile one. They can live in water with fairly wide range of salinity in various parts of the world. In the North-eastern part of Thailand, problems of saline soil and water occured for a certain period of time. In order to deals with saline water from rock salt for fishery purpose, saline water from Tambol Kumpaya, Amphoe Khamtaleso, Changwat Nakorn Ratchasima were then taken to laboratory at Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University for Artemia culture. The experiements were done by using water of various salinity 40,50,60 and 70 ppt. for 14 days . Best results on survival rate and growth were shown at 60 ppt., with survival rate of 42.56 % and average total length of 5.67 mm. in 14 days. At the levels of 70, 50 and 40 ppt., survival rate were decreased to 41.61 % , 31.27% and 4.67% while average total length dropped to 4.42 , 4.40 and 3.77 mm., respectively. By using rice bran, chicken manure and tapioca waste at rate of 0.3, 0.6 and 0.9 ml/l/day, and the density of individual animal were 500, 1000 and 1500 per litre, no statistically significance of the survival rate were found on those groups of Artemia. After sixteen days of study, five hundred individual Artemia perlit using 0.6 ml/l/day of rice bran group had the highest survival rate.
