The Purposes of this Research were to Describe Maternal Health Belief and Child Care Behaviors Regarding Respiratory Infectious Disease of the Children Attending Child Daycare Center, and to Describe the Relationship Between the Frequency and the Severity of Illness and Maternal Health Belief and Child Care Behaviors. The Study Population were 70 Mothers Whose Children Attending Small Child Study Center, Faculty of Nursing. Chiang Mai University. The Research Instrument was the Questionnaire Consisted of 3 parts: Demographic Data, Maternal Health Belief, and Maternal Child Care Behaviors Regarding Respiratory Infectious Disease of the Child . The Content Validity of the Questionnaire was Assessed by Five Experts. The Reliability Coefficient of Questionnaire using alpha of Cronbach was .78 and .72. Data were analyzed by using Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation and Correlation Coefficient. The Results of the Study were as Follows: 1. Maternal Health Belief Regarding Respiratory Infectious Disease of the Child was Correct at Good Level. 2. Maternal Child Care Behavior Regarding Respiratory Infectious Disease of the Child was Correct at Good Level. 3. There was Low Positive Relationship Between Maternal Health Belief Regarding Respiratory Infectious Disease of the Child with Frequency and Severity of Illness . 4. There was Low Positive Relationship Between Maternal Child Care Behavior Regarding Respiratory Infectious Disease of the Child with Frequency and Severity of Illness. 5. There was low Positive Relationship Between Maternal Health Belief Regarding Respiratory Infectious Disease of the Child with Maternal Child Care.
